Hi once again…
Continuing from the previous entry… I went down to Malacca Town on the 1st of Oct to help my friend, Margaret, with her wedding preparations… I went down to Malacca Town with Maggie’s mom, relative and another good friend of ours, Yin Tse.
I didn’t know what it was that I was suppose to help her with but I was prepared to become her kuli…hehe
We checked in Holiday Inn Hotel… damn nice I tell you the hotel… but their security is very tight at night and for those are very concerned by their safety, and the safety of their belongings, can rest easier at night. But it was a bit mafan for us, as the bridal suite is at the top floor while the rest of the bridal entourage was scattered a few floors below the suite, so travel to her suite at night took some logistical effort by everyone… LOL…
Here are some pictures in the bridal suite, as we helped the bride settle in…

"I can't believe that I'm getting married in a couple of days!"

After overcoming the shock, the bride is back to her blur self XD

Like having some congress meeting je... hihi

Macho pose.. haha

After that, tummies began rumbling and we looked for food. So Desmond and Margaret brought to a Peranakan Restaurant, Sri Nyonya, at Equatorial Hotel… Apparently the ONLY decent non-home cooked Peranakan food to be found in Melaka. The food was brilliant lah.. my fave was the bendi dish… yum!

Des is looking for heavenly guidance while Maggie is praying to the divine power
After the desserts have been eaten, we moved back to the hotel. For the rest is time for them to rest and recover before tomorrow’s hectic schedule. But that is not the case for the (un)fortunate friends of the bride.
This was when our duties were told to us… we found out that the bride, hence forth dubbed Bridezilla, wanted us to decorate her guestbooks because her guestbooks are actually her scrapbooks for her wedding. Before you scratch ur head or arse and asked, “Huh, scrapbook?? WTF?” You can go here for more information.
Anyway, I’m not the most creative of people unless you put a camera in my hand lah… but other than that, I’m not much of a graphic, designer of things, much less all the glittering and cute, cute embellishments that are the mechanisms of the scrapbook world.. sigh.. I could not get over the shock so I took some pictures of our night activity.

Cherie called Maggie as we started the scrapbooking... it was a nice suprise and a much welcomed call as Cherie was also suppose to part of the wedding too

See the mess 3 girls can do to a bridal suite.. XD

EMBELLISHMENTS! tho only a small proportion is shown in this picture...
Anyway, we (when I say we, I meant Ying and I. Bridezilla pengsan midway through the scrapbooking session altho we told her to go to bed earlier… degil betul dia) were up to the wee hours of the morning scrapbooking the guestbooks… and we woke up early the next day to do… to do whatever we had to… that day was a blur… i think it was from the overdose of scrapbook.. XD
I just know that we went for the Bridezilla’s final dress fitting because here is a picture of the event LOL

Final dress fitting...
Okay that’s it for the moment.. the next entry will be on the actually wedding ceremony… so keep a look out for it… Ciao meow!
